Apparently there is a new work at home opportunity making its way around the web that claims to make you some easy money processing rebates from customers. I must admit, as an avid work at home opportunity seeker I was very curious about this opportunity when folks at my blog were asking me about it. So like I tell all my subscribers, I went ahead and did my research to learn more about this so called rebate processing opportunity. At first, all I could find is all these articles praising this opportunity as the next best thing since sliced bread.
But as an experienced scam detector, I could see right through their bull. Most of the sites and people that were claiming you could process rebates legitimately were obviously selling the products that teach you how to do it. So obviously I could not depend on them for an honest answer. Low and behold I was finally able to hunt down the truth and I was shocked with the results.
How Processing Rebates From Home Works
So here's how it allegedly works. The company you pay will provide you a list of various companies that are "dying" for you to process rebates from them. This website that you pay will allegedly train you how to process rebates and find the customers to do this with for the companies you'll be working with. But here's what's really happening folks. You're paying to learn about affiliate marketing with a twist. All these so called rebate processing sites are doing is selling you a list of affiliate networks such as ClickBank which you can easily find in Google within two seconds, on your own. Then they give you a list of classifieds or the basics on pay per click advertising. You're also provided with ads. With this information you're suppose to go and place these ads out on the web getting people to buy the products you're affiliated with. The rebate processing comes in when you tell people in the ads that you'll give them a rebate if they purchase with your link. This so called rebate is actually a portion of the commission you earned for getting these people to buy in the first place.
That's rebate processing folks. No need for thanks. I just saved you $47 bucks or whatever the heck they're charging for this info.
So Is Rebate Processing Really A Scam Then?
No it's not. Companies give out rebates all the time. Everyone wins with rebates. The scam or shady part is the websites that are selling this information and misrepresenting what you'll be getting. They make it seem like it's a traditional work at home job when it's clearly not. You're not getting paid an hourly rate or guaranteed to make any money. This is going to piss you off if you're thinking this is a job which will lead you give up before actually trying. Now with that said, can this be profitable? Yes sir! Affiliate marketing is how many of the sites you visit make money. Would I personally recommend learning it from these rebate processing websites? Heck no!
If they have already started a relationship with you by lying to you, what makes you think they have your interest at heart? They are probably going to skimp out on all the training you'll need to be successful at affiliate marketing. You won't get the one one one support that you deserve and nor will they reveal all the various ways that you can succeed at this career using free techniques.
So my advice is to stay away from these rebate processing websites. Invest in affiliate marketing training from real experts that are honest and upfront. Now go and read these other articles raving about rebate processing and laugh to yourself.
